SYDNEY CRICKET GROUND, SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

SYDNEY CRICKET STADIUM(SYDNEY)

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a sports stadium in Sydney, Australia.it is used for Test, ODI, T20 International and Twenty20 cricket, as well as Australian rules football, rugby league, rugby union, and association football. It is the home ground for the New South Wales Blues cricket team, the Sydney Sixers of the Big Bash League.

SYDNEY CRICKET STADIUM(SYDNEY)Pitch Report

Sydney Cricket Ground is traditionally one of the most spin-friendly international cricket grounds in Australia, because the soil and foundation of the pitch and playing surface is primarily 'Bulli soil' from Bulli, New South Wales. The SCG along with the Gabba in Brisbane are the only major test venues in Australia not to have switched to a drop-in pitch.

SYDNEY CRICKET STADIUM(SYDNEY)Pitch Report

Test Match Pitch Report and Toss Factor:

The SCG wicket is likely to be good for batting in first two days while pacers get some assistance from the pitch on Day 1. Traditionally, SCG pitch supports spinner in 4th and 5th day of the match. Sydney is known to be a good batting wicket, with the spinners coming into the picture on days 4 and 5 in a Test match. SCG helps spin bowlers more than any other Australian surface, visiting teams are often tempted to go in with two spinners at least. As of now the ground has witnessed 11 matches where the team batting first has won 2 matches and the team bowling first has won 3 matches and 6 matches were resulted in draw.

Here are last tests matches average scores of both Innings at SYDNEY CRICKET STADIUM ground:

ODI Match Pitch Report and Toss Factor:

The Sydney Cricket Ground has been a high-scoring venue. This was evident in the white-ball rubber as batsmen smashed the bowlers to set high scores. The SCG pitch has assisted spinners as well. Sydney is known to be a good batting wicket, it doesn't offer the true bounce of the Gabba or the raw pace of the WACA, turns which ensures spinners have one venue in Australia to look forward to rolling their arm over.

Here are last ODI matches average scores of both Innings at SYDNEY CRICKET ground:

T20I Match Pitch Report and Toss Factor:

The pitch is favourable for batting, and many mammoth scores are secured. The batsman enjoys to bat on the flat pitch of the Sydney Cricket Ground. At this ground whichever team won the toss preferred to bowl first. Run chasing seemed to be easy on this ground. As of now the ground has witnessed 16 matches out of which the team batting first has won 9 and the team bowling first has won 6 and 1 match went with a no result.

Here are last T20I matches average scores of both Innings at SYDNEY CRICKET ground:

BIG BASH LEAGUE Match Pitch Report and Toss Factor:

The Sydney Sixers own the Sydney Cricket Ground as its their home venue in the BBL. Big score is always on the board here at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). It is a flat track and batsman do enjoy batting on this wicket. Having said that, there is some help for the spinners due to some sort of slowness in the wicket. If rain gives a break whichever teams wins the toss prefers to bowl first. As of now the ground has witnessed 51 league matches in the last 10 years where the team batting first has won 25 matches and the team chasing won 25 matches and 1 match went with no result.
